iMovie Review Homework due Weds 6th

In Media Studies we often have to write a critical reflection about the learning processes of practical work - we call these Evaluations.

In our recent class work we were aiming to explore the visual language of camera work.

I now need you to evaluate your success.

TASK:

Choose 3 separate and differing shots from your movie.

Describe their construction in detail

Explain the desired effect on the viewer

Consider how successful they are and how you could improve them

Finally, discuss any other (ie not shot sizes) strengths and weaknesses of your film.

Complete the grid we began in class. Include appropriate images AND be sure to explain the reasons for the choice of shots, ie the effects generated for the viewer.

If you are unsure then use the links to support websites typed at the top of the grid.

You must print out your work to hand it in!

DON'T PANIC - if all of this sounds a bit difficult.

We will do it in stages and once you get into the habit all will be fine!

Once your blog is up and running you can begin to customise it by using the DESIGN features.
